So The DoujiCon is on next weekend!
So much done, so much still to go... It's a never ending ball of excitement around here. And by excitement, I mean things that'd make you a nervous wreck if you were doing it instead.
Trade places? Someone? Anyone?
Nah, it's actually all under control (except the DoujiCon Snack bar... The coffee machine is acting up, and I really can't afford a new one right now). The wristbands have arrived (although are somewhat cheaped out as roughly 5,000 was the minimum order... so they're just a generic design) and look great. The Enviro-friendly bio-plastic bags for DoujiCon arrived (printless... B'oh!), and there's roughly 60 slabs of soft drink sitting on my porch as I have no where to put them until DoujiCon is on.
In other news, the second OzTAKU published graphic novella is now available for purchase online. That Violent Revenge Story is a tale of senseless violence and gunplay, by Chuc.
Roll (backflip?) over John Woo, we're getting a new favourite martial-arts D.O.P.
We're also going to be making an appearance at AVCon this weekend. Cyraxis is heading down there with Craig, and our booth is being hussied by two sexy sexy ladies... Because sexy ladies = sales.
Sad but true. I blame a consumerist driven society that is vapid, shallow and places value on things by their aesthetic appeal.
Well, hopefully, we'll see you all this weekend (except for those of you in NSW who are too lazy to come down to DoujiCon... pikers!)
