Submitting Work to OzTAKU

OzTAKU 2009 publishing submission deadline : December 31, 1969

Why Should You Submit?

OzTAKU offers a publication service unlike the vast majority of comic publishers.
Never mind "creator owned" works. That's a given nowadays, and we fully respect that, giving artists a very fair share of nett revenues generated from sales of their work.
What OzTAKU also provides is a community, resources, one-on-one editorial consultation and feedback should you want it... and we do it all for Australian's only (... and New Zealanders, because we like to steal trans-Tasman talents).
OzTAKU has presence at every major Australian anime convention, as well as online. We actively promote our works, not only at conventions, but directly to comic, anime and special interest stores around Australia, and will likely soon have an international reach as well.

What to Submit:

OzTAKU is now attempting to publish graphic novels and novellas of all original Australian content.
If you think you've got what it takes to go the hard yards and create a sizeable book, we want to publish it for you!
We do recommend that you work in your own style, and simply attempt to create the sorts of stories you want to read. Leave Japanese manga to the Japanese... We want to see Australian manga.
Mayne-GAH even.

OzTAKU is all about seeing an Australian voice, a style if you will, in the graphic narrative content we put out there.

How to Submit:

Download and print the Submission Form, and send it to us with your signature and artwork.
