OzTAKU Gallery: Submission deadlineDate: Saturday May 15
Venue:
Cost:At this point, I expect your artwork to have arrived to be placed in the gallery to be held in a few weeks time.
If it has not arrived, and you have not provided reasonable explanation and ETA, your work may not be posted in the gallery.
This also includes transport delays. For godsakes, pack and send it on Monday!
Furthermore, if you are not in Melbourne, I recommend using a courier, specifically one that is used to dealing with art.
Just... NOT... AUSTRALIA POST...
Sure, it costs more money, but just add that cost to your sale price. If the work doesn't sell, well, we'll deal with that when it happens.
We can always attempt another, smaller gallery elsewhere.

ManifestDates: Friday August 20 to Sunday August 22
Venue: Melbourne Showgrounds
Cost:
Website: http://www.manifest.org.auCan you believe we've still got our fingers in this particular pie? Between Avi at the top, Tycho doing sponsorship, Trey somewhere in the middle, and the rest of our Victorian crew running shenanigans, it's amazing this event hasn't imploded yet...
I mean... uhhh, Hey, look at that!
No, seriously, Manifest is simply the largest specifically anime festival in Australia with more to do than any other con.
There are workshops, classes, screenings, ad-hoc activities, dance offs, about 28 different cosplay oriented events and the OzTAKU drawing room!
If that doesn't convince you to come, then you're far too hard to impress...
