Company History
OzTAKU was founded in late 2003 by Avi Bernshaw and Kenneth Chan.
Having run their university's student magazine that year, they wanted to keep on going with it, but narrow the content to specifically what they were most interested in: Manga style comics, but with a more local flavour.
Originally not realizing there were already other Australian manga anthologies in circulation, a firm resolution was made to ensure that this one had the highest quality production values and widest distribution of any yet.
An Aussie Battler was born…
