Ich bin ein Manifesten!09/11/08, Posted by Avi
So as it turns out, in a surprise that wasn't really all that much of a surprise, I have become the Convenor of Manifest.
This basically puts me in the position of responsibility for one of the most dysfunctional events management teams in the country! YAY!
Sadly, this means even less time for me for OzTAKU stuff.
It's a good thing that next weekend is the follow up management meeting, wherein I shall be delegating even more tasks away from myself.
That said, I'm hoping this means that Manifest, both as an event and an events management group, can be pulled out of it's current certifiably insane position.
Wish me luck, and please use the donate button (it's under the "Community" tab) to help pay for the therapy I'm so desperately going to need before long.Upcoming OzTAKU Event
Date: Monday February 02 Venue: Cost: All preliminary designs for the OzTAKU Art Gallery, to be held in June, must be submitted for consideration.
The work does not have to be finalized at this point, but a series of draft works to demonstrate the content you wish to submit must be ready.
Accompanying this draft work needs to be a description of the finished work, with details of:
- Mediums used (i.e. Charcoal on Canvas, Pencils on Artboard, etc)
- Approximate Physical Dimensions
- Framed or Mounted
- Expected cost of time & Materials
- Desired sale price
Once again, these figures don't have to be exact. I'm just after ballpark figures so I can start arranging gallery space, and also tell people if the prices they're considering are unreasonable on either side of the scale.OzTAKU Titles
